WHAT IS LOVE?

This post will discuss the same thing, but with more complexity. And more theories. Scientifically, it can be explained that in the body of a person who falls in love, Phenthylamine will be produced, which affects the increase in body temperature and blood pressure, the heart rate will be faster and make sweating easier.

So what exactly is love? There must still be many readers who don't know what love is.

The following will present some opinions about what love is. Everyone can give a different understanding of love. Because they define love according to their respective emotional states. So, there is no absolute definition of limiting love.

In the Indonesian Language Dictionary, it is mentioned that there are 4 explanations of love; Love is love or love right; Love is love, captivated (between men and women); Love is eager, hopeful, longing; Love is hard (worry, worry).

Whereas in the Concise Oxford Dictionary it is said "Love is an intense feeling of deep affection."

It seems that this understanding is more in line with most of our meanings. During this time we better interpret love as a feeling of deep affection.

Furthermore, there is also the meaning of love expressed by several philosophers and religious leaders.

According to Plato: Love is an empty gesture.

According to Rabiah Al-Adawiah: Love is the expression of longing and the deepest picture of feeling. Anyone who is able to feel it will surely recognize it. However, anyone who tries to use it will definitely fail.

According to Ibn Qayyim: love is an emotional overflow and turmoil when overwhelmed by desire when wanting to meet with a lover.

According to Kahlil Gibran: Love is the only freedom in the world because love evokes the spirit of human laws and natural phenomena cannot change its journey. According to Kahlil Gibran, Love is like a beautiful bird, asking to be arrested but refusing to be hurt.

According to Jalaludin Rumi: Love is the source of everything. The world and appear because of the power called love. Love is the essence of all life forms in the world.

According to Quraish Shihab: Love is a tendency of the heart to something because of the pleasure that can be obtained from a loved one.

According to Hamka: Love is a feeling that must be present in every human being, he is like a drop of dew that descends from the sky, clean and holy. Only the other land receives it. If he falls into a barren land, grow because dew is lawlessness, lies, deceitful, stepped up and others are despicable things. But if it falls to fertile land, heart will grow, sincerity, faithfulness in high manners and other praiseworthy behaviors.

Meanwhile, two Baron and Byrne linguists define love as emotional state involving attraction, sexual desire, and concern about the other person (an emotional condition that involves attraction, sexual desire, and deep attention to others.)

Furthermore, it turns out that there are also definitions of love based on 'subject matter experts':

Mathematician: Love is one plus one will not only produce two, but can be three, four, and so on. Example: 1 father + 1 mother = 3 children

Chemists: Love is a combination of various elements, such as Pe (Hug), Ci (Kiss), Be (Caress), and so on which if reacted in a closed room will cause a population explosion.

Geographer: Love is a vibration that occurs within a person because of movements from within the heart that can lead to additional souls.

Physicists: Love is an attractive attraction between two different types of humans whose strength is directly proportional to their respective economic conditions and inversely proportional to the distance of each house.

Sociologist: Love is the main cause of the explosion of the population that is even more than a nuclear explosion.

Economist: Love is the first step taken to "invest capital" in potential partners.

Linguists: Love is an Indonesian word consisting of only 5 letters but has a million meanings.

Psychologist: Love is the main cause of confusion which is currently experienced by ABG.

Computer experts: Love is the only thing in the world that until now cannot be counted by computers.

Biologist: Love is one of the feelings felt by humans when meeting someone, which is the embodiment of one of the characteristics of living things, namely continuing descent.

The definition of love for this subject is indeed a bit silly, but it makes sense and I think it is still worth considering.
